The RFBI Cessnock Masonic Village community came together this month to celebrate a very special milestone: the 99th birthday of one of the lovely residents, Shirley.

Shirley reached this incredible milestone on Saturday, 11th April 2026 surrounded by the people who matter most. To mark the occasion, Shirley’s family joined her at the village for a beautiful birthday lunch, filled with laughter, shared memories and scrumptious birthday cake garnished with beautiful fruits.

Reaching 99 is no small feat and Shirley spent the day reflecting on a lifetime of experiences with her loved ones. It was a joy for our staff to help facilitate such a meaningful family gathering, ensuring Shirley felt like the guest of honour she truly is.

Happy 99th Birthday, Shirley! We feel privileged to celebrate this remarkable year with you.
