At RFBI Concord Community Village, the festive spirit took on a special cultural glow on 7 January 2026, as we gathered to celebrate Coptic Orthodox Christmas with the residents.

For many in our community, this date holds profound significance. To mark the occasion, our Leisure & Lifestyle and Catering teams curated a beautiful Orthodox Christmas lunch, bringing together residents to share in traditional flavours, stories and the joy of the season.

This celebration is more than just a special meal; it is a reflection of RFBI Concord’s deep-rooted commitment to honoring the rich diversity of our residents. We believe that the special feeling of home is only possible when every individual feels their faith, background and heritage are truly seen and respected.

From the carefully prepared dishes to the vibrant conversations around the table, the day was a resounding success. Seeing the smiles on the residents’ faces as they celebrated their traditions reminds us why these cultural experiences are so vital.

At RFBI, we don’t just acknowledge diversity – we embrace it through:

• Tailored activities: celebrating religious and cultural holidays from around the world with special experiences and meals.
• Authentic food: incorporating traditional recipes that taste like home.
• Shared experiences: encouraging residents to share their life stories and heritage with one another.

By fostering an atmosphere of respect and belonging, we ensure that every resident can live the life they choose, surrounded by a community that celebrates exactly who they are.
