The lounge at RFBI Concord Community Village was transformed into a sea of colourful balloons and bright smiles this week as we gathered to celebrate a truly monumental milestone: our lovely resident, Irena turned 100 years young!

Reaching a centenary is an extraordinary achievement and the team at Concord wanted to ensure Irena’s big day was as spectacular as the life she has lived. The village was buzzing with excitement as Irena was surrounded by generations of her loving family, dear friends and our dedicated village team.

The celebration was packed with special moments, from the presentation of a magnificent birthday cake to the reading of wonderful birthday wishes from near and far. The room was beautifully decorated with vibrant, colourful balloons, reflecting the joyful spirit of the day and the bright legacy that Irena has built over the past 100 years.

For the Concord community, milestones like this are incredibly close to our hearts. It’s an opportunity to honour the lives, stories, memories and wisdom of residents and celebrate their special day in a way that works for them.

Happy 100th Birthday Irena! We are incredibly privileged to care for you and to have you – and your wonderful family – as part of our Concord community.
