We love bringing a little magic into our villages through new experiences and activities for residents to enjoy.

Recently our team in RFBI Goulburn Masonic Village went above and beyond to bring the special world of Disney into the village in true 1955 style. Celebrating their 70^th birthday, residents were whisked off into a world of colour and nostalgia. The room shimmered with Disney memorabilia, and residents were welcomed by Walt’s Snack Station, which served up fairy floss, popcorn and snow cones, some of the favourite trets of Disneyland.

The entertainment didn’t stop there. Residents joined in a lively Disney sing-along, shared trivia from Disneyland’s opening day, and took an armchair ride through classic attractions like It’s a Small World and Peter Pan’s Flight. The afternoon wrapped up with dancing under streams of bubbles and the smiles that resulted were abundant.

Staff and residents truly stepped into character, wearing Mickey ears, tiaras and Disney-inspired costumes, sparking plenty of photo-worthy moments.

It was a whimsical reminder of how Disney stories can bring generations together by evoking memories, imagination and that signature sense of wonder we all know and love.

Thank you to our incredible Leisure & Lifestyle team for creating such a heartfelt, fun-filled experience.
