Celebrating 35 Years of community at RFBI Coffs Harbour Masonic Retirement Village
20 Aug 2025What a special day it was at RFBI Coffs Harbour Masonic Retirement Village as we came together to celebrate 35 wonderful years of friendship and community.
Organised by our Village Coordinator, Debra, the event brought together over 40 residents who joined in for an afternoon filled with music, laughter and delicious food. It was a time to reflect on the journey we’ve shared and to celebrate everything that makes our village such a warm and welcoming place to call home.
We were honoured to be joined by several special guests who helped make the day even more memorable. Among them were City of Coffs Harbour Mayor Nikki Williams and NSW Member for Coffs Harbour, Gurmesh Singh MP, along with members of our RFBI team — Alyson Pearce, Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer; Anthony Tsapicounis, Retirement Living Operations Manager and Natalie Green, Regional General Manager. Their presence was a wonderful show of support for our residents and team.
A heartfelt highlight of the day was the cutting of the anniversary cake by two of our longest-standing residents, Beety and Faye. It was a touching moment that reminded us of the deep roots and lasting friendships formed over the years.
As the music played and everyone shared a delicious meal, the joy and warmth in the room were unmistakable. Events like these remind us just how special our village is, not just for the years we’ve shared, but for the people who make every day meaningful.
Here’s to 35 years of memories and many more to come.
