A beautiful sense of community and a lot of shared laughter filled the room recently as residents from across RFBI Hawkins Masonic Village came together for a very special cause

Residents and staff from both our independent Retirement Living cabins and our Residential Care villages joined forces to host Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, raising funds for vital cancer research. The room was buzzing with activity, featuring an assortment of delicious homemade cakes and slices sold by the box, a lively trivia competition, lucky door prizes and even a blind tea-testing challenge.

The day was made even more special by a massive $500 donation from the retirement living exercise group, bringing the total amount raised so far to an incredible $1,146.

This initiative highlights the wonderful way the Lifestyle team and the Retirement Living team collaborate to foster a true whole-of-community feel. By supporting events that matter to the residents, our team members help foster a warm environment where everyone feels valued, safe and included.
