RFBI Basin View Masonic Village residents recently embarked on an incredible armchair travel experience that whisked them away to the vibrant and colourful land of Mexico!

Armchair travel is a wonderful activity our team organise to allow residents to enjoy authentic cultural experiences. Residents have been on many adventures from the safety of our villages, with food, visual and hands-on experiences bringing the country to our villages.

Residents in RFBI Basin View Masonic Village recently experienced Mexico. Staff took residents through customs, asking for their crafted and personalised passports which were given the stamp of approval.

They were welcomed onboard the plane by their pilot, Jeff, who happens to have a pilot’s license. Residents boarded the plane in style, enjoying business class seating and the feeling of a real travel adventure.

During the flight, the kiosk trolley came around, offering duty-free gifts and travellers enjoyed a delightful morning tea while watching a captivating sightseeing video. Upon “landing” in Mexico, they snapped photos and headed to a restaurant for a scrumptious Mexican lunch prepared by our amazing Catering Team.

The day was filled with laughter and unforgettable memories.
