Our residents and staff are passionate about supporting communities and causes that align with our values and resident’s interests. And when that includes enjoying a delicious morning tea spread to raise funds for a good cause, our residents are even more enthusiastic about getting involved.

Our residents and staff at RFBI Basin View Masonic Village recently held a morning tea to raise money to support Cancer Council’s breast cancer research. Every day in Australia, around 65 women are diagnosed with a breast or gynaecological cancer. Unfortunately, some of our residents and staff have been affected by this serious disease either themselves, or their friends, family or colleagues.

Our residents and staff dressed in pink, catering prepared some delicious cakes and a cuppa for all, and staff gathered donated prizes to raffle off for the cause.

Together the village raised $295.00 to go directly towards Cancer Council’s important work.
