Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea

Nicole Vlamis 29 May 2020

In honour of Cancer Council’s Biggest Morning Tea (on Thursday 28 May), staff and residents across our Villages organised a morning tea event to help raise funds for Cancer Council’s life-saving research, prevention, support programs and information.

The Hospitality team at RFBI Basin View Masonic Village made delicious yellow and blue cupcakes and crackles for residents to enjoy.

Over at RFBI Dubbo Masonic Village, the team dressed up as superheroes for the day while our residents enjoyed morning tea and reminisced about the cartoons and comics from their childhood.

Resident, Shirley Coffee commented, “It was a great event especially with the staff dressed up and guessing who they were.

This is just of the many fundraising events our teams organise which are held at our Villages for RFBI residents. It is a great way for them to socially interact with their peers and feel part of the wider community by contributing to worthy causes.
