Art Deco Festival at Leeton24 Jul 2019
The Leeton Art Deco Festival is back bigger than ever. The event which lasted for three days attracted over 3,000 visitors to the town and celebrated all things 1910-1940. This year’s theme allowed residents at RFBI Leeton Masonic Village to immerse themselves in fashion, food, culture and crime stories of the town in the ’20s and ’30s.
A ‘Flappers and Felons’ themed High Tea had everyone dressed in style where they enjoyed a scrumptious fine dining meal. The main course consisted of a delicious marinated lamb shank with creamy potatoes and fresh greens but it was the impressive ‘naked’ cake made by the Village’s kitchen team that was the talk of the day. Beautifully made to fit the theme.
Our Lifestyle teams love to bring events from the community to the Village and encourage our residents to participate. Read more about community events at our Village at https://rfbi.com.au/news-events/
