We are thrilled to have a number of caring, enthusiastic and passionate people who donate their time to support and care for our residents and clients. Our volunteers help us across our aged care facilities, services and locations, and whilst we try to celebrate them every day, we’ve taken National Volunteer Week as an opportunity to express our appreciation.

Our RFBI Basin View Masonic Village team hosted a morning team for volunteers, with residents loving the opportunity to see some familiar faces. General Manager, Melinda, gave a speech to express our thanks to our volunteers and gifted certifications of appreciation.

At RFBI Leeton Masonic Village, the team held a high tea to celebrate current volunteers and welcome four new volunteers. Everyone enjoyed a game of balloon tennis ahead of the delicious high tea, and there were a lot of laughs shared.

Thank you to our volunteers for all that you do for our residents – we appreciate you!

Volunteering in an aged care village is your opportunity to both give and gain. In as much as you will be giving your time to the community that cares for you, you will also be able to spend time with some truly extraordinary Australians – and learn a little more about life in Australia from those who came from a previous generation.

To discover volunteering opportunities near you, please contact your nearest aged care village, call our Head Office, on 1800 181 959 or email us at volunteer@rfbi.com.au.
