Going to the movies is a favourite past-time for many of our residents. While the graphics and on-screen experience have evolved dramatically, the love for a good story has not. So our Leisure & Lifestyle team decided to bring motion pictures to our residents in RFBI Hawkins Masonic Village. The team arranged a movie day, keeping it comfortable by inviting staff and residents to wear their favourite, most comfortable pair of pyjamas.

Each resident was given a movie ticket to one of the sessions – either the 10am or 1.30pm showing. To set the scene, residents were given a tray of movie snacks to enjoy in the morning and a tasty choc top in the afternoon. And, of course, there was popcorn for all to enjoy – the smell was amazing!

We received great feedback from staff and residents alike about the experience. For more news from our villages, click here.
