Late last year, SPC ProVital, one of Australia’s leading food brands in healthcare, launched their Aged Care Angels campaign to recognise and reward Australia’s aged care staff for their outstanding efforts in protecting the nation’s most vulnerable people. The campaign allowed everyday Australians to nominate an outstanding residential aged care or community home care worker for a chance to win one of 10 grand prize packs (valued at $725 each).

We were delighted when Lyn McCulloch, our very own Catering Supervisor at RFBI Kurri Kurri Masonic Village nominated her team and am proud to be one of 20 winners out of 500 entries in SPC ProVital’s Aged Care Angels Campaign. Read her nomination below:

“I would like to take this opportunity to nominate our team at RFBI Kurri Kurri Masonic Village. This team has shown an amazing spirit in a difficult time displaying an exemplary example of teamwork and care during the last few years. The epidemic has brought out the true nature of staff who are willing and happy to give extra commitment when needed. It’s amazing what the team has achieved when the going gets tough.”

SPC ProVital hosted a morning tea to celebrate and thank all our staff for going above and beyond in the aged care sector. A representative from SPC ProVital, Chris Ghosn attended the event and congratulated the team in person.

Congratulations to our team at RFBI Kurri Kurri Masonic Village!
