RFBI Kurri Kurri Masonic Village residents recently spent a morning playing one of their favourite sports, lawn bowls, at the local Kurri Kurri Bowling Club as part of the NSW Seniors Festival celebrations.

The club is a familiar place to many of our residents, who are life members of the club and extremely talented lawn bowl players. They certainly showed us a thing or two about the game of bowls. What was designed to be a friendly game did become a little competitive at times, but also a whole lot of fun!

The morning of lawn bowls was a fantastic way for the residents to socialise and enjoy some outdoor exercise. It was also an opportunity to reconnect with the wider community, with the Kurri Kurri Bowling Club opening their doors to the RFBI residents. The residents expressed their appreciation to the club for hosting them and look forward to visiting again soon.
