The RFBI Holt Masonic Village was alive with energy and camaraderie as residents, families, staff, and volunteers came together for a memorable fundraising event. The purpose? To support the RFBI Benevolence Program and Annuity Scheme which contributes to initiatives that have a profound impact on our community.

Guests and residents were treated to a raffle, delicious sausage sizzle, and a captivating concert by local talent Trish, who serenaded the audience with timeless hits from the 50s to the 80s. Trish’s performance was a true highlight that everyone enjoyed.

The generosity of our community shone through in every aspect of the fundraiser. Bunnings, a staunch supporter of our organisation, donated a gift hamper worth $300 to the raffle, which was met with great excitement from our attendees. In addition to this, contributions from Aldi and Woolworths added a delightful variety to our raffle prizes.

The aroma of sizzling sausages wafted through the air, thanks to the generous donations from our catering suppliers, staff and a thoughtful resident’s family.

A special mention goes to our dedicated Leisure & Lifestyle Officer, Georgina and her husband, who contributed dozens of eggs. These were not only sold, but turned into a profit of $130, adding to the funds raised.

In total, our efforts and the support of our attendees led to a remarkable sum of more than $1,511 being raised. This brings us closer to our goal of furthering the reach of our RFBI Benevolence Program and Annuity Scheme in supporting initiatives that touch the lives of many.

The success of this event wouldn’t have been possible without the tireless teamwork of every department, from our General Manager to our Care Manager and RGM. It’s heartwarming to witness such unity and dedication.

The positive feedback we received following the event was overwhelming, a testament to the impact that collective generosity and unity can have. If you missed the event but would like to make a donation, click here.
