A cuppa for a good cause

The aroma of fresh coffee and delicious baked treats filled the air at RFBI Coffs Harbour Masonic Village as residents, staff and families gathered for a very important cause: Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea.

The annual event is a favorite on the village calendar, bringing the community together to raise vital funds for the Cancer Council’s life-saving research, prevention programs and support services.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who attended, baked and bought raffle tickets the village raised a fantastic $424. Every dollar contributed goes directly toward supporting individuals and families affected by cancer across the country.

Beyond the fundraising success, the morning was a beautiful celebration of connection. The room was buzzing with laughter, storytelling and plenty of smiles as guests caught up over a wonderful spread of savoury and sweet treats prepared by the village team and supporters.

A highlight of the morning was the drawing of the highly anticipated raffle basket, packed full of goodies. Congratulations to our lucky raffle winner who took home the spectacular prize!

At RFBI Coffs Harbour, we are incredibly proud of our community’s ongoing commitment to giving back. A huge thank you goes out to our Leisure & Lifestyle team for organising the event and to every single person who attended and donated to make the morning such a heartwarming success.
