On Thursday, 21 November, RFBI Holt Masonic Village celebrated their 30th anniversary with residents, families, staff, health care partners and local community members. Over a delicious two-course lunch, attendees commemorated the quality care that is provided by the team at the Village and the wonderful home it is for so many.

Mollie Fraser, daughter of Moira, a resident at the Village, has been a passionate supporter of the village since it opened and was actively involved in its establishment. In a heartfelt speech, she spoke about how happy her mum is at the Village and how grateful she is to have her mum being cared for by such a dedicated and caring team.

“My mum loves it here at RFBI Holt Masonic Village and I could not be happier with the care she receives,” said Mollie.

John McGee, a resident of the village also spoke during the festivities and shared that for him “there is no better place to call home.”

It was an honour to invite retirement living resident, Nancye Simington, who was our first resident to move into our retirement village to cut the cake.

“We have a really wonderful community here at RFBI Holt Masonic Village and it was an absolute pleasure to share this special milestone with everyone.” Faye Saunders, General Manager.
