Help us welcome MHERV to Goulburn
One of the important initiatives RFBI supports is the Men’s Health Education Rural Van (MHERV) by providing the funds to have a registered nurse travel with the van throughout NSW to provide free health checks. Since this program commenced in 2017, MHERV has visited over 100 communities and provided more than 10,000 free health checks. In the Southern Tablelands area, MHERV has screened over 100 people, helping to save countless lives.
On Thursday 10 March, the Men’s Health Education Rural Van (MHERV) mobile men’s health clinic is coming to Goulburn to provide free life-saving health checks. RFBI is hosting a fundraising Morning Tea at RFBI Goulburn Masonic Village and we invite you to join us as we celebrate the arrival of the MHERV mobile men’s health clinic in Goulburn.
Helping us welcome MHERV to Goulburn will be Mayor Peter Walker of Goulburn Mulwaree Council. Also joining us will be some very special guests, including a variety of fur friends for the little ones. Bigger kids will enjoy a vintage car motorcade that will be escorting the MHERV van through town to the Village, led by the NSW Rural Fire Service Truck.
Come along for our lovely morning tea event and ‘Donate to help a mate’ to keep MHERV on the road and saving lives.
