Visitor Bookings

Visiting an RFBI Village

The health and safety of our residents is our first priority and we appreciate your support in the measures we are taking to make our Villages the safest possible place. Maintaining emotional and physical connections is vital for our residents and we will continue to support visits wherever we can.

RFBI offers a range of ways for residents to stay connected with their loved ones including assisted video calls, telephone calls, window visits and face to face visits. All visits can be scheduled in advance by either completing the booking request form below or contacting your RFBI Village by phone. If you use this booking request form, an email confirmation will be sent to you when the Village confirms your visit.

Please use the form below to request a visiting appointment. You will receive an email notification when your request has been confirmed. Our visiting appointments are subject to terms and conditions, these are located at the bottom of the page.

It is extremely important that you do not visit any RFBI Village if you are even mildly unwell. If you are unsure of whether you should be visiting your loved one please call the Village prior to your appointment.

For the safety and wellbeing of everyone, the visiting protocols below have been implemented:

  • RFBI has chosen to retain The NSW Government recommended visiting restriction of two adults and two children within a 24-hour period. The General Manager may increase the number of visitors depending on the circumstances.
  • Visitors are no longer required to undertake a Rapid Antigen Test prior to entry to our Villages unless the Village is in an outbreak situation.
  • All visitors over 12 years of age are required to wear a surgical mask over their nose and mouth while visiting indoors.
  • Visits will only be held in resident’s rooms or outdoors (no visiting in common areas).
  • It is strongly recommended that all visitors to a residential aged care home be vaccinated against influenza and Covid-19.

Visitors must not enter an RFBI Village if they:

  • Have a temperature of 37.5 degrees or higher or one or more symptoms of acute respiratory infection or Covid-19 symptoms such as even mild coughing, fever, headache, fatigue, runny nose, sore throat, shortness of breath or loss of taste or smell. Other reported symptoms of Covid-19 include muscle pain, joint pain, diarrhoea, nausea/vomiting, loss of appetite and acute blocked nose congestion;
  • Are waiting for a Covid-19 test result.
  • Have tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 10 days

We ask every visitor to consider the health and safety of our residents and staff by agreeing to meet our visitor requirements.
