Anania Lobo began her career in medical-surgical nursing in 2000 before moving to New Zealand, where she developed her expertise in aged care. With more than 15 years of experience in residential aged care, she has held senior roles in clinical and quality management at both regional and national levels and has also worked with the Ministry of Health in New Zealand as a Quality Assessor.

Since joining RFBI in 2019, Anania has supported the IQN program and the professional development of Registered Nurses. In 2025, she was appointed Regional General Manager for the South region.

She is passionate about empowering others and supporting their growth, and she believes that older people should always be treated with dignity and provided with the highest quality of life possible.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and reading.
