At RFBI we are incredibly proud to be able to call ourselves a leading Aged Care provider throughout NSW and the ACT. We are passionate about improving the services and facilities that we can provide to current and future residents, to ensure their families have peace of mind knowing their loved ones are experiencing the best care possible.
Improvements and renovations are currently taking place across four of our facilities, and we are excited to be able to share with everyone what exactly is taking place below.
Bathurst Masonic Village
To better cater for our Bathurst residents and be able to provide care to more residents, we are building onto the existing facility and adding 15 more beds, taking the number of Hostel beds to 45.
To allow residents to enjoy better downtime and social activities, two lounge rooms, an activities room, courtyard garden and a men’s shed are in the works. We are also building a new ambulance bay andpick-up/drop-off space. All of these developments are due for completion in March 2015.
Bellorana Masonic Village
We have a brand new facility in the works in Bellingen which will provide the area with 60 Aged Care beds, meaning more elderly locals can receive the care they deserve in familiar surroundings. We are currently carrying out a study to determine that heritage, flood and amenity issues will comply with local regulations. Once this is done, planning will begin by mid 2015.
Dubbo Masonic Village
Another exciting announcement is the 140 bed Aged Care facility that we are currently seeking council approval for in Dubbo. The state of the art development will also include a retirement village with 12 self care villas, a community hall, village green, Masonic lodge and Men’s shed.
Building will begin in mid 2015 with completion in early 2017.
West Wyalong Masonic Village
To give the facility a fresh new feel, we are refurbishing and rebuilding the facility. 27 bedrooms and the main entry will be revamped. A brand new lounge room and courtyard are being built, along with three new internal gardens for residents to enjoy. A commercial kitchen and laundry, and new staff training room are being built, which will benefit both staff and residents, who will be able to enjoy the new facilities from July 2015.
