Here, you will be able to enjoy a lifestyle as active as you please doing the things you love doing, and then relax and enjoy your surroundings.

State of the art living in NSW heartland

RFBI Glen Innes Masonic Village is located 1.5 kms from the Glen Innes town centre; this beautiful regional town in the New England sapphire region is an easy drive from Armidale, Inverell and Grafton.

Local attractions include heritage listed buildings and outstanding parks and rainforests. Glen Innes has a strong Celtic connection; local Celtic societies and bands visit us, as do the Masonic Ladies (for morning teas) and the RSL sub-branch.

We also have a bus for local shopping trips, movie theatre visits and excursions to nearby Inverell and Armidale.

History

The original hostel opened in 1990. It stands on the site of a timber mill called Potter and Greenaway. The local community raised funds to establish the village, known locally as Glenwood Gardens and, thanks to a substantial donation from RFBI, a 28-bed hostel was built.

Since 1990, six 2-bedroom villas have been added, as well as 22 new residential care beds. Federal MP for New England, Tony Windsor, officially opened these in 2004.
