RFBI through its Benevolence Assistance Scheme has funded two scholarships to assist in the creation of a skilled workforce to address oral health issues in rural and remote communities. We wish to congratulate the first candidates that have graduated from the programme organised by the Poche Centre for Indigenous Health, Sydney University, the Open Training and Education Network and the government.
The RFBI Benevolence Assistance Scheme may be available to any individual or charitable group in need of assistance.
At RFBI we are incredibly proud to be able to call ourselves a leading Aged Care provider throughout NSW and the ACT. We are passionate about improving the services and facilities that we can provide to current and future residents, to ensure their families have peace of mind knowing their loved ones are experiencing the best care possible.
Improvements and renovations are currently taking place across four of our facilities, and we are excited to be able to share with everyone what exactly is taking place below.
On Friday 20 and Saturday 21 June RFBI villages joined aged care providers around Australia in celebrating the inaugural National Open Day, a day to celebrate quality services to support the ageing population.
The Aged Care Emergency (ACE) service is a multi organisational approach to enable older Australians in residential aged care facilities to be able to receive the right health care in the right place.
In the past week three of our lovely residents have celebrated their milestone birthday, reaching 100 years of age. Each facility held a party for the centenarians to show our congratulations.
What is changing for providers?
From 19 May 2014, we are required to publish our maximum accommodation prices and descriptive information on the My Aged Care website. This information will be for new residents entering care on or after 1 July 2014. The accommodation prices and descriptions must also be available on our website and in materials provided to prospective residents and their families.
