Residential Care Beds: 40
Retirement Living Units: 34
At Berry Masonic Village, we also provide 34 Retirement Living villas. There is the option of two or three bedrooms. The villas are well appointed, and even offer single lock up garages.
Catering is on site, with main meals served in the large dining room. We update the menu seasonally, and welcome resident input. Visitors can enjoy a meal with residents, at a minimal charge.
As of the 1st July 2014, new residents have greater choice on how to pay for their accommodation costs. These choices include:
- Residents can choose to pay for accommodation by a refundable deposit (RAD) paid as a lump sum,
- A daily payment (DAP), or
- A combination of both
A daily payment accrues daily and is paid periodically (e.g. fortnightly). A combination payment includes both a partial lump sum and daily payments. As RFBI offers a variety of accommodation options and prices we encourage you and your family to discuss your needs with a financial adviser to ensure that you are receiving the best financial outcome available to you.
Our published Accommodation Payment prices are our maximum rates and will apply for those with adequate financial means.
Residents with limited assets may be treated as “supported” by the Department of Social Services. This means that you will not be required to pay the published Accommodation Payment. If you are not treated as “supported”, but affordability is still a factor, be assured this will not necessarily affect your eligibility for accommodation.
The Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) amounts quoted above are current as of today and may change (in line with interest rate adjustments) for entry dates after the 1st July. When there are changes to the interest rate RFBI will update the new DAP’s based on the new quarterly interest rate.
